The Andover Housing Authority offers affordable housing to families, seniors and disabled people. The family property is located on Memorial Circle, with 56 two, three and four bedroom units in brick townhouses. There are 218 one bedroom units for Seniors and Disabled people located on Chestnut Court, Grandview Terrace, Frye Circle and Stowe Court. Rents are based on thirty percent of adjusted gross income for elderly and disabled people and thirty-two percent for families including utilities.

A five member Board of Commissioners oversees the Housing Authority, and contracts for an Executive Director. Four of the Board Members are elected by Town Voters, and one is appointed by the Governor. They each serve for a term of five years. Board Membership.

The Board of Commissioners of the Andover Housing Authority hold public meetings on the third Thursday of every month at the Stowe Court Community Room located at 100 Morton Street, with the exception of the January, May and October meeting which are held at the Frye Circle Community Room located at 256 North Main Street.

The waiting list for our State Funded Family Townhouse property will be open from 8-15-07 to 8-31-07 at 12:00 noon upon which it will closed. The wait list for housing for State funded Senior/Disable housing is always open.

The AHA is part of the State Wide Waiting List for the Section 8 Housing Choice voucher Program and the waiting list is open until further notice. Income limits are as follows:
