The Main Calendar and the Community Development & Planning Meetings Calendar show public meeting notices for Andover board, committee, commission, and council meetings. The Community Events Calendar is to publicize any event located in Andover sponsored by the Town, by a non-profit, or by a for-profit organization running a charitable fundraiser, where the general public is invited to attend. The Elder Services Calendar shows the dates and times of programs and events at the Senior Center at Punchard additional information about these programs may be found here. From I-93, go E on Rt. 133 for 0.5 mi. to the first set of traffic lights, take L on Greenwood Rd. In about 1 mi., take 2nd L onto High Plain Rd. Travel about 1 mi. (cross I-93 & I-495). Park near leaf composting area. No registration required. No pets. Hike if no snow, rain cancels. Andover Historical invites you to discover decidedly unstuffy history in Andover. Whether you’re a newcomer to Andover, or you’ve lived here for years, Andover 101 will give you an introduction to the key stories that contributed to the Andover we know today. From how Andover was founded, to Andover’s role in national events, to how local place names came to be, Andover 101 will cover 7,000 years of Andover’s stories – way back to glacial geology and the native Pennacook Confederacy – in a fun and lively presentation. Historic maps, photographs, and cultural artifacts from Andover’s past will illustrate 15 stories about your town.

Sunday is bargain day. Fill a bag for $5 or $7. CDs & DVDs are 4/$1. Teachers and nonprofits groups are welcome after 3:00pm to collect unsold books for their classrooms and organizations.
