The Main Calendar and the Community Development & Planning Meetings Calendar show public meeting notices for Andover board, committee, commission, and council meetings. The Community Events Calendar is to publicize any event located in Andover sponsored by the Town, by a non-profit, or by a for-profit organization running a charitable fundraiser, where the general public is invited to attend. The Elder Services Calendar shows the dates and times of programs and events at the Senior Center at Punchard additional information about these programs may be found here.   1. For Freedoms Sign Making

    October 24, 2018, 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM @ Addison Gallery of American Art

    Join the Addison in participating in the country’s largest public art project. Inspired by Norman Rockwell’s paintings of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms, For Freedoms? projects use art as vehicle for participation to deepen public discussions on civic issues and core values. Drop by the Addison to create and publicly display your own definitions of freedom by completing statements on lawn signs that begin with “Freedom of,” “Freedom to,” “Freedom for,” and "Freedom from.” The event is free and all materials will be provided. After the kickoff event, signs will continue to be available at the Visitor Services desk until they run out. As they are completed, the signs will be displayed outside the Addison through Election Day, Tuesday, November 6.

  3. Addison Gallery Tour: Contemplating the View: American Landscape Photographs

    October 24, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Addison Gallery of American Art

    Curator Allison Kemmerer will lead visitors through the galleries to discuss the themes and works presented in this exhibition, which features images of the American landscape, both natural and manmade, by photographers such as Carleton Watkins, Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Robert Adams, Lois Conner, Marcia Resnick, and Katherine Wolkoff. Meet in the lobby of the Addison Gallery of American Art on the campus of Phillips Academy. Free and open to the public, but registration is required. A collaboration of Memorial Hall Library & Addison Gallery.

    Join in the musical fun at the community jam presented by the Merrimack Valley Community Music School.
