Hours of Operation Spring 2010

• April 15, 2010 - May 31, 2010
• Monday - Saturday - 8am to 4pm
• Closed Sundays
• June 1 - June 30, 2010
• Saturdays 8am to 4pm

The gates will be locked and the Site closed at all other days and times.
Closed on Holidays.
Note: Illegal dumping subject to penalties and fines.

Permit Fee

• Effective September 1, 2009
• Residential Permit Fee (Andover residents only): $25.00 per vehicle
• Maximum two vehicles per address.
• Commercial Permit Fee: $1,000.00 first vehicle
• Maximum three vehicles total per business.
• Additional vehicles $100.00 each.
• Restricted to Andover based businesses only.

Permits are color coded & effective July 1 to June 30th.

Regulation

Stickers will be issued by the Plant & Facilities Department starting August 3rd, 2009. Tel: 978-623-8280
The vehicle registration number will be printed on the sticker issued (the sticker must be affixed to the lower corner of the windshield on the driver's side).

• Stickers can be picked up:  In person starting August 3rd, 2009: Monday-Friday, 9am-2pm P&F Office
• Or by mail beginning August 3, 2009:
  • Send a self addressed stamped envelope
  • Copy of Vehicle Registration
  • Check, made out to “Town of Andover”

• Bald Hill Recycling Facility will be fenced off to prevent illegal dumping.
• The facility will open April 15th to Thanksgiving (see schedule)
• Permit holders may take up to two 32-gallon trash barrels of processed compost for their personal use each day.
• Signs and a surveillance camera will be erected along the new fence warning of illegal dumping.
• If vehicle is sold, sticker must be removed and returned to the Plant & Facilities Office before a new sticker will be issued.
• Violations, such as using stickers on other vehicles could result in loss of privileges.
• Illegal dumping subject to fines up to $10,000.

Permits are restricted to grass clippings, leaves, and green garden waste.
No plastic bags, branches or other waste allowed.
