Town Yard
In 2009, Town Meeting voted to take the next steps in moving the Town garage out of the Town Yard and consider a new development district on the property. To assist in this change we are using the state program called chapter 40R. More can be found on the Chapter 40R Program. Now we must decide the way this program should be implemented. This new development could be transit oriented, sustainable and provide an expanded tax base. To design the zoning we need your input - What redevelopment here is important to you? How should it connect to the train station and North Main Street? Are there some things you wish would happen? - or hope never occur? Please join us at one of the upcoming community conversations to learn more about the project.
