Selectmen and Town Manager
The Town of Andover elects a five member Board of Selectmen to staggered three-year terms. The Board generally meets twice a month on a Monday evening. Mary K. Lyman, Vice Chairman: jameslyman82@hotmail.comMary K. Lyman was appointed to the Board of Selectmen on Monday October 22, 2001. She and her husband James live at 50 School Street with their three sons ages 5, 8, and 10. She holds a a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. Prior to her appointment, Mary served as the Town's Human Resource Director from 1985-1990 and on the School Committee from 1992-1995. Her term ends in March 2011. |

Gerald "Jerry" Stabile, Jr., Secretary: jstabilejr@gmail.comAn Andover native, educated in the public school system, and the son of an Andover firefighter, Mr. Stabile brings a unique perspective to the Board of Selectmen. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston College, Jerry has enjoyed a successful career working for Massachusetts-based Information Technology companies over the past twenty-five years. His term ends in March 2010. |

Brian Major: bmmajor@comcast.netBrian was first elected to the Board of Selectmen in March of 1997. He and his wife Margaret have four children: Rachel 9, Danielle 7, Brendan 5, and Nicole 5. Brian is a Director of Process/Product Improvement “Master Black Belt” for Philips Medical Systems located here in Andover, Massachusetts. He has a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering, an MBA, and Masters Certifications in Project Management, Six Sigma, Facilitation and Lean Manufacturing. He has served on the Andover Youth Council from 1994-1997 and as the North Essex Boy Scout District Chairman from 1996-1998. Brian’s current Selectman terms ends in March 2012. |

Town Manager Reginald S. Stapczynski: manager@andoverma.govReginald "Buzz" Stapczynski was appointed Andovers Town Manager in 1990. He has a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. Prior to coming to Andover Buzz was the Town Manager in Wilmington, Massachusetts for 9 ½ years. He also served as Wilmington's Assistant Town Manager for several years. Buzz resides in Andover with his wife Sandy and his two sons. |

Assistant Town Manager Steven S. Bucuzzo: sbucuzzo@andoverma.govSteve Bucuzzo was appointed Andover's Assistant Town Manager in June, 2001. He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. Prior to coming to Andover Steve served as Town Administrator for Rockport, MA; as Budget & Management Assistant for Wellesley, MA; and as a Non Commissioned Officer in the United States Army Airborne Infantry. Steve lives in Haverhill with his wife Lynette and son Patrick, and is active in various non-profit organizations. |
