Board of Selectmen & Town Manager
The Board of Selectmen serves as the Town's policy-making body, except as otherwise directed by state statutes or by the Town Charter. The Selectmen are elected by the voters of Andover, and serve for three-year staggered terms. The Board of Selectmen appoints the Town Manager, Town Accountant, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Board of Registrars.The Board of Selectmen generally meets twice a month on Monday evenings.

Paul was elected to the Andover Board of Selectmen in March of 2011. Paul served on the Andover Planning Board for 17 years and has also served as Andover’s Commissioner to the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, the Andover Council on Aging, the Town Yard Task Force, member of the Andover Rotary Club, Andover Historical Society, Service Club of Andover, Lawrence Boys and Girls Club Director, Northeastern University Advisory Board as well as the Lanam Club board of directors. Paul is a father of 2 boys, a grandfather of 5 and resides with his wife Margaret on the former Walnuthurst Dairy Farm on South Main St., in Andover.
Mr. Salafia's current Selectman term ends in March 2019.
Alexander J. Vispoli, Vice Chair: firstname.lastname@example.org
Alex was first elected to the Board of Selectmen in March of 2004. Alex is a member of the Massachusetts Selectmen's Association (MSA) Executive Committee and is the current MSA representative for Essex and Middlesex Counties. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Municipal Association (MMA) Board of Directors and a member of the Governor's Local Government Advisory Commission. Alex's community service includes volunteering for Boy Scouts, coaching Andover Youth Sports, a member of The Knights of Columbus and Service Club of Andover. Ann and Alex live on Alison Way and have four children.
Mr. Vispoli's current Selectman term ends in March 2019.

Mary was born and raised in the West of Ireland, and was educated at University College Cork, with an undergraduate in Music and a post graduate in Education. She relocated to the US with her family in 1988, settling in Andover. Mary served on the Finance Committee for a number of years before running for the Board of Selectmen in 2014.
Ms. O'Donoghue's current Selectman term ends in March 2017.

Dan was first elected to the Board of Selectmen in March of 2012. Dan holds a BS degree in Computer Engineering from UMass Dartmouth. Dan is married to Kristin (Monahan) Kowalski and has two daughters, Emily and Grace, who attend Andover Public Schools. Dan’s public service includes serving on the South School Council, South School PTO as VP and co-President, Andover Youth Foundation Board, Andover Finance Committee and has coached soccer for Andover Soccer Association. Professionally, Dan has worked for IBM for over 22 years; most recently focusing in the area of internal application and process controls. Dan also has over 15 years part-time law enforcement experience and holds the professional designations; Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/IT (CIPP/IT).
Mr. Kowalski’s current Selectman term ends in March 2018.

OFFICE OF THE TOWN MANAGER
The Town Manager is appointed by the Board of Selectmen for a five year term. The Town Manager serves as the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Fiscal Officer, and Chief Personnel Officer of the Town of Andover. The Town Manager appoints and supervises all employees, and is responsible for overseeing all services and operations of the Town of Andover.
