Join Town officials and local stakeholders for a guided bus tour highlighting Andover’s Transit Oriented Zoning Districts. Learn more about opportunities for Transit-Oriented, Mixed-Use Development that meets community needs and supports a strong local economy.

Tour Locations


The Transit Oriented Zoning District tour will depart and return from the Memorial Hall Library via MEVA Transit. Tour Locations include:

1. The Historic Mill Overlay District, a nearly one hundred (100) acres between Main Street, Dundee Park, the Shawsheen River and Whole Foods Grocery Store.  The purpose of the HMD is to encourage smart growth development in proximity to Andover’s regional transit station by fostering a range of housing opportunities within mixed-use development projects. 2. The Multifamily Overlay District, a zoning district that supports the development of "missing middle housing," essential to providing housing options to those seeking housing near employment, transit, shopping...etc. Link to Zoning Bylaw.
