Vital Records

Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates


Certified copies of birth, death, and marriage records are available at the Town Clerk's Office in Andover and the Massachusetts Registry of Vital Records and Statistics. A certified copy is required for passports, immigration, and other legal purposes. Certified copies of vital records may be obtained in person or by mail. Each certified copy is $10.

Birth Certificates

The Andover Town Clerk's Office will have birth records for any birth that occurred in Andover and records for any birth that occurred within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts if the mother was an Andover resident at that time. 

Marriage Certificates

The Town Clerk's Office will have marriage records for any couple who filed their marriage intentions in Andover. 

Death Certificates

The Town Clerk's Office will have death records for any death that occurred in Andover and records for any Andover resident whose death occurred within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
