Every Drop Counts: Rain Gardens
Thursday, October 17, 2019
Water is both the stuff of mystery and an essential part of everyday life. In the face of climate change, water is becoming too scarce and too plentiful. Water bans, flooding and erosion are increasingly common as this life-giving resource seems to turn against us. Get reacquainted with water and learn simple methods to capture, reuse and slow storm water and runoff. In this two-hour workshop, Trevor Smith of Land Escapes Design will discuss rain harvesting and rain gardens as ways to make the most of every drop.
