The Town of Andover is seeking residents to serve as Trustees of the Towle Fund, which provides assistance to Andover residents who need aid, comfort or support because of age, disability or unemployment.  Trustees meet monthly to decide on applications for the funds, which were bequeathed by the late Margaret G. Towle to the Town. 

Recent grants provided assistance with electric bills, payment of back rent so a disabled resident would not be evicted and payment of an overdue hospital bill.
