The Town of Andover is seeking volunteers who are interested in volunteering on a Board, Committee, or Task Force. Typically, vacancies occur around June 30th each year, and sometimes outside of the traditional terms. The Town keeps Talent Bank Forms on file for when a vacancy occurs. While residents are encouraged to apply at anytime for any board or committee they are interested in, the Town is currently looking for volunteers for two committees specifically: the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Town Meeting Electronic Voting Study Committee.
Zoning Board of Appeals
The Board of Selectmen are seeking volunteers who are interested in serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals, a board that issues special permits, variances, and hears appeals as they relate to zoning. If you are interested, please complete a Talent Bank Form: http://www.andoverma.gov/FormCenter/Boards-Commissions-5/Andover-Talent-Bank-Form-43.

Town Meeting Electronic Voting Study Committee
The Town is seeking volunteers to serve on a committee that will study electronic voting at Town Meeting. Currently, Town Meeting votes are performed by raising hands, or standing vote counts. This new group will study the feasibility and implementation of an electronic voting process for Town Meeting. If you are interested, please complete a Talent Bank Form: http://www.andoverma.gov/FormCenter/Boards-Commissions-5/Andover-Talent-Bank-Form-43.

There are a number of committees and boards in Andover that help govern and guide the Town. The Talent Bank Form allows you to select the boards or committees that may be of interest to you. If there are currently no vacancies for boards or committees that you are interested in, Talent Bank Forms are kept on file for when a vacancy occurs. Many terms expire in June, so the Town encourages anyone interested in serving to complete a form.
