The Board of Selectmen will provide the public with an overview of the North Reading Water Agreement at a special meeting on May 30, 2018 at 7:00 PM.

At the April 4, 2018 Special Town Meeting, the Board of Selectmen was authorized to submit a home rule petition with the legislature to enable the Town to enter into a 99-year agreement with North Reading for potable water service. Since the Special Town Meeting, a Board of Selectmen Sub-Committee has been working with the Town of North Reading on drafting the final inter-municipal agreement.

The Board of Selectmen is scheduled to take a final vote on the agreement on June 4.
