Wednesdays with Wendell! We would like to welcome Wendell the Duck who will be featured on Wednesdays on the DPW Facebook Page who invites students to join the journey of learning about water conservation.
To begin, print today’s picture of Wendell, color it, and hang in a front window to show your neighbors and friends that you are participating in Wednesdays with Wendell! Encourage friends and other students to participate in this journey as well.
Each week two new pictures will be posted to the DPW’s Facebook page for Andover students to print and color. PDF versions will be available below.
Please print your first name and last initial on the bottom of the colored picture and email to recycle@andoverma.us so we can post to the DPW’s portion of the Town’s website for all to view. Pictures can be scanned and emailed. If you do not have a scanner, take a picture of each colored page and email it back. That works too! One submission is considered both pages each week. Please, only one submission per student per week. Each week participant’s names will be entered into the drawing. In addition to the contest, check out the DPW Facebook page for weekly posts on conservation, recycling, composting, and all ideas that are good for Andover and for the Earth!
On July 1st, names will be pulled at random for an array of prizes. Prizes include water-saving lawn sprinklers, permits to the Bald Hill Compost Site, backyard tumbling composters, recycling toters, and more.
