Upcoming sidewalk and road construction work on Enmore Street is scheduled to begin July 9th and will last several weeks. The contractors performing the work will be Nocella Landscaping and Paving of Woburn, MA, and Brox Paving out of Dracut, MA.
The scheduled work will consist of 3 distinct phases. Phase 1 will include the lowering of all manhole frames and covers as well as water gate boxes and pulverization of the existing asphalt roadway. This will be followed by the repaving of a base course. Phase 2 will include removal and resetting of granite curb and reconstruction of sidewalks. The third and final phase will consist of final paving, lawn restoration, and tree plantings.
Every effort will be taken to assure that access to residents’ property during the construction period will be maintained and that any interruption is minimized. Any personal property in the Town Right of Way such as sprinkler systems should be removed or have their location clearly marked. The greatest possible effort will be made to avoid damaging such property, but the contractor will not be liable for private property damaged in the Town Right of Way.
