[ARCHIVED] Town Seeking Candidates for Town Yard Selection Committee

Town Yard Selection Committee

The Town of Andover is forming a Selection Committee to recommend to the Select Board a firm to buy and redevelop the Old Town Yard. The Selection Committee will be guided by a community-authored Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP describes the context surrounding the Old Town Yard parcel, the community’s objectives for redevelopment of the parcel, and the process through which proposals will be evaluated by the Selection Committee.

The seven-member committee will be comprised of two representatives of the Historic Mill District Task Force, three at-large members who are residents of Andover, and two staff designees. In appointing the three at-large members, the Town Manager is seeking residents with experience in development/real estate, architecture/design, sustainability, law, and other relevant backgrounds. All members will be called upon to oversee a selection process that closely adheres to the requirements of the community-authored RFP.

Interested candidates should complete a Talent Bank Form by visiting www.andoverma.gov/volunteer

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by November 2, 2020. Please email manager@andoverma.gov with any questions.
