The Department of Public Works is excited to begin the replacement of a section of water main on Chandler Road between the I-93 overpass and Greenwood Road. Water Main Replacement is scheduled to begin the week of October 19th.
Update: On Wednesday, December 30th the Town’s contractor will continue water main work on Chandler Road. This will include a shutdown of all of Chongris Circle from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The construction may cause some adjustments in driving patterns; there may be detours and delays. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to their calls.
Chandler Road will be closed between Greenwood Road and the I-93 Overpass from November 2nd until January 1st. The road closure will be from 7 am to 3 pm daily from Monday to Friday. Please follow detour signs and instructions. Local traffic and school buses will be allowed to access residences. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to calls.
There will be planned water main shutdowns, for which notices will be distributed to affected residents and businesses beforehand.
