[ARCHIVED] Andover Compost Bin Program

Compost Bin Program Icon

The Town of Andover’s Department of Public Works (DPW) has offered Earth Machine compost bins at a reduced rate to Andover residents. Each bin costs $25.00. To view the Earth Machine Compost Bin product details, view the Earth Machine Compost Bin PDF. The DPW will be purchasing these backyard composters in bulk on behalf of residents and is offering them at a discount to promote the practice of backyard composting. Please view the Earth Machine Composting Instructions for information on how to use this compost bin.

Due to unexpectedly high sales, the DPW is no longer taking any more requests at this time. If you have placed an order, please send your payment as soon as possible.

Shipment is expected to take 4 - 6 weeks. The DPW will contact participating residents after the shipment arrives for pickup arrangements. We will post updates here as the information becomes available.

Residents must send a check, payable to the Town of Andover, to:

DPW-Compost Bins
5 Campanelli Drive
Andover, MA 01810

Please include your phone number on your check and your Andover address, if not already indicated on the check. Residents can also drop off their check at the dropbox in front of Town Offices at 36 Bartlet Street or at the DPW’s dropbox, located by the front entrance at 5 Campanelli Drive.
