The Moderator and Town staff have worked diligently to plan a Town Meeting that protects the safety of attendees while preserving the quality community deliberation that defines Andover’s Town Meetings.
Town Meeting will be held under a large tent in observance of social distancing. Attendees can sit as couples or singles and will be at least six feet from members of other households.
The Town encourages attendees to wear masks in the strongest possible terms. Masks will be provided to attendees who do not bring their own. Those attendees who do not wear a mask will be seated in a separate section.
To avoid crowding at voter check-in, we will provide four separate check-in locations at the four corners of the tent.
Attendees will be permitted to bring food and beverages and will be asked to dispose of any trash in receptacles or take it with them at the conclusion of the meeting.
