On Tuesday, November 9th, the Town's contractor will be performing road work at the intersection of Bailey Road and Hay Bale Road. This work is anticipated to be completed within two days, weather permitting. Schedule work hours are 7 AM – 3 PM. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of the roadway. The detour will send traffic towards Haggetts Pond Road towards Pleasant Street and back to Bailey Road. The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Notices have been handed out to abutters and adjacent streets to notify of the impending work. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
