The Town of Andover’s general contractor will be replacing the water main on Elm Street, from High Street to Maple Avenue (see map). Construction is anticipated to begin Thursday, March 17th. We anticipate this construction to last approximately two weeks.
Update – Overnight Water Main Shutdowns, March 20th, 21st
On the night of Sunday, March 20th, the Town’s contractor will continue water main work on Elm Street. This will include a water main shutdown of Elm Street (#1-34), #1 Elm Square, Elm Court, and Chickering Court (#5-7), overnight from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am (see map).
On the night of Monday, March 21st, the Town’s contractor will continue water main work on Elm Street. This will include a water main shutdown of #2 Elm Square and Post Office Ave, overnight from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am (see map). Construction will take place from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am.
The construction may require some adjustments in neighborhood driving patterns; however, every effort will be made to minimize this inconvenience. There may be detours and delays. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to calls.
