The Town of Andover’s general contractor will be replacing the water main on Main Street, from Elm Street to Punchard Avenue (see map). Construction will begin the week of March 21st. We anticipate this construction to last approximately eight weeks.
Update: Starting on the night of Monday, April 25th construction on Main Street will be taking place Monday night to Thursday night from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM (OVERNIGHT).
Update: On the night of Thursday, April 28th, the Town's contractor will continue water main work on Park Street. This will include a watermain shutdown of Park Street (#6-34), Barnard Street (#3-19), and Main Street (#8-20) (see attached map) from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am (OVERNIGHT). Construction will take place from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.
The construction may require some adjustments in neighborhood driving patterns; however, every effort will be made to minimize this inconvenience. There may be detours and delays. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to calls.
