The Town of Andover’s general contractor will be replacing the water main in Elm Square and on Essex Street, from Main Street to #15 (see map). Construction will begin the week of July 11th. We anticipate this construction to last approximately three weeks.
Construction will be taking place Monday night to Thursday night from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM (OVERNIGHT).
The construction may require some adjustments in neighborhood driving patterns; however, every effort will be made to minimize this inconvenience. There may be detours and delays. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to calls. There will be periodic shutdowns and potential discolored water associated with this water main work. Upcoming Work:
On the night of Monday, July 25th, the Town's contractor will continue water main work on Elm Square. This will include a water main shutdown of #10-43 Essex Street (See attached map) from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am (OVERNIGHT). Construction will take place from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. The construction may cause some adjustments in driving patterns; there may be detours and delays. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to their calls.
