Gas Restoration Street Listing - Posted March 23, 2022
Daily construction will begin at 7:00 am and could go as late as 7:00 pm, depending on the type of work being done. Please be advised that there will be full and partial road closures to facilitate this work. Please take notice of detour signs and police details. Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through during construction.

Dascomb Road Detour August 11 & 12th:
On Thursday, August 11th starting at 7 am, paving operations on Dascomb Road (Steeple Court to Surrey Lane) will require the closure of Dascomb Road while work is progressing (see detour map). The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Message boards have been placed on Dascomb Road and off-ramps to I-93 to inform motorists of the upcoming work. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Central Street Detour August 3rd:
Paving operations (milling) are scheduled for August 3rd on Central Street (Main Street to School Street) between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of this road while work is progressing. The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area. Businesses should expect delays accessing the parking lots on Central Street.
Hidden Rd/Gardner Ave Detour July 19th:
Paving operations (reclaim) are scheduled for July 19th on Gardner Ave & Hidden Rd, starting at 7 am. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of these roads while work is progressing (see map). The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Shawsheen Road Detour Starting June 20th:
Beginning Monday, June 20th, the eastbound lane of Shawsheen Road will be closed for sidewalk construction. Traffic will be detoured through the school grounds (see map). This detour will be in place periodically until approximately September 1st. Please follow posted signage. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to calls.
For student drop-off at West Middle School during road closures on Shawsheen Road, please follow the detour (see map) and review the instructions below.
Directions for student drop-off and pick-up for summer programs at WMS:
Parents will have to use the AHS driveway, to Moraine St and a left back up to Shawsheen road. Take a left onto Shawsheen road and then a left into the WMS entrance. Leaving the ½ circle in front of WMS, all cars MUST take a left onto Shawsheen road.
The West Middle School parking lot is closed to traffic from the high school driveway. The contractor is using half of the lot for equipment and materials. DO NOT drop off children in this area.
