The Town Moderator appoints the town’s nine member Finance Committee. The Finance Committee reviews the proposed budgets for the town and school departments, as well as financial warrant articles and provides recommendations to Town Meeting. The Finance Committee publishes a Finance Committee Report which is delivered to each household prior to Annual Town Meeting and any Special Town Meeting.
The Finance Committee typically meets two Wednesday evenings per month, and sometimes more frequently in preparation for Town Meeting.
