Discover Girl Scouts

Come see how your child will have more fun learning, doing, and growing as a Girl Scout! Families are invited to a free Discover Girl Scouts Try-It Meeting. Bring a friend and make some new ones. Girl Scout staff and volunteers will lead a fun, age-appropriate activity for future Girl Scouts. After, staff will answer questions and explain how to begin your year of adventure, wonder, and FUN! Witch Andover, Which Andover

The witches of Andover and fear and division in 1692 set the groundwork for the people of Andover to stand up. The Salem Witch trials shaped the Andovers as we know them today. All are welcome to join us on October 11th at Oak & Iron Brewing Company to hear more!

ACE Scarecrow Festival

ACE Scarecrow Festival

ACE is thrilled to be celebrating our 11th Anniversary of this beloved Andover tradition from October 14th to October 28th on Main Street in downtown Andover! Our theme this year is When I Grow Up, I Want To Be…The children of our community are our future; scientists, educators, artists and engineers, our kids truly can do anything. This year’s scarecrows will represent the aspirations of the generation after ours; we hope to see creative musicians, happy world travelers, and brilliant scientists as we drive and stroll through Andover this fall. Community members are invited to stroll along Main Street and enjoy the scarecrows for the two-week festival. As in past years, ACE will host an ongoing, self-paced scavenger hunt and a kick off event on Saturday, October 14th in front of Old Town Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kindness for Colleen Blood Drive

Please spread kindness in memory of Andover's Colleen Ritzer by donating blood to pediatric patients receiving treatment at Boston Children's Hospital. We are hosting their Bloodmobile at St. Augustine Church (43 Essex Street, Andover, MA) on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 9am-3pm. One adult's blood donation can support up to four young patients! We call it Giving Pints for Half-Pints. To make an appointment, please go to bostonchildrens.org/halfpints and use the sponsor code KINDNESS. Halloween Monster Bash

The Andover Firefighters Relief Association presents a Halloween Monster Bash on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 7 - 11 PM at Old Town Hall, 20 Main Street, Andover. This 21 plus event will be the spookiest night of the year where ghouls, ghost, and firefighters unite! All are welcome to attend! Diwali Celebration

The Town of Andover along with The Community Services Division, Planning & Land Use Division and The DEI Commission invite you to a Diwali Celebration featuring traditional Indian food, dance and music. Friday, October 27, 2023 6 - 9 PM Andover Old Town Hall 20 Main Street, Andover Admission is free but pre-registration via email is required by emailing rsvpoth@andoverma.us with name and number of attendees. This program is made possible by a grant from the Mass Cultural Council.
