The Community Events Calendar is to publicize any event located in Andover sponsored by the Town, by a non-profit, or by a for-profit organization running a charitable fundraiser, where the general public is invited to attend. The Elder Services Calendar shows the dates and times of programs and events at the Senior Center at Punchard additional information about these programs may be found here.     Andover 102 at the Andover Center for History & Culture, 97 Main St. at 1:00pm. Andover 102 is a decidedly unstuffy introduction to the history of some of Andover's special places! From beaches to boxing and academies to agriculture, Andover's special places have fascinating, interesting, and surprising stories to tell. Please join us as we share these stories and more in a fun and lively presentation that includes historic maps, photographs, and cultural artifacts from Andover's past. Andover 102 programs are one hour. Program fees are $5 (members); $8 (nonmembers). Registration is required and spaces fill quickly, so early registration is recommended.   3. Peking and the Mystics: Vintage Vocals

    Enjoy an afternoon of 'Vintage Vocals' performed by the a cappella group, Peking and the Mystics. Formed by alumni of Tufts University and its a cappella singing group, the Beelzebubs, Peking and the Mystics has toured nationally and internationally, including trips to the Far East and South America. They've recorded four albums, appeared on television and radio, and in print media. The group's eclectic repertoire, comprising original arrangements by PATM members themselves, features vintage vocals from such genres as swing, jazz, doo wop and pop music, representing every decade from the 1930s to the 2000s. The members are Gene Blake, of Andover, on tenor 2; Andrew Cranin, of Brewster, on baritone 1; Chris Parker, of Ipswich, on bass; David Pratt, of Wellesley, on tenor 1, and Tim Vaill, of Andover, on baritone 2.
