  2. MISTRAL presents: Baroque Big Band, Holiday Concert

    Mistral’s 23rd Season continues just on the heels of Thanksgiving, heralding the holiday season with a pair of concerts that feature Johann Sebastian Bach’s Baroque masterpieces, The Brandenburg Concertos No’s. 2, 3, 4, and 5. Like last season, this year’s performances will take place in two intimate venues: On Saturday Dec. 7, at 4 pm, at West Parish Church in Andover, and on Sunday Dec 8 at 5 pm, in the newly renovated sanctuary of Congregation Kehillath Israel in Brookline where the audience will surround the Baroque Big Band on four sides! The Brandenburg Concertos Nos. 2, 3, 4, and 5 Julie Scolnik and Susan Rotholz, flute John Ferrillo, oboe Terry Everson, trumpet Irina Muresanu, Julianne Lee, and Megumi Stohs-Lewis, violin Stephanie Fong, Jason Fischer and Zing Peng, viola Jonah Ellsworth, Jan Muller-Szeraws, and Mickey Katz, cello Charles Sherman, harpsichord Don Palma bass
