Mistral’s 23rd season kicks off on September 19, 20, and 21, with a return to the literary landscape of Marcel Proust. “IN SEARCH OF MARCEL PROUST (II)” is an exploration of several key composers who deeply inspired Proust throughout his novel, À la Recherche du Temps Perdu (In Search of Lost Time). Proust’s distinctive genius lies in his ability to capture the imaginary dimension of listening to music—the ability of the mind to conjure inner worlds under the influence of sound.
