  1. New Paint Annual Online Fundraiser | Essex Art Center

    September 14, 2020, 12:00 PM - September 23, 2020

Essex Art Center is entering its 27th year of continuously programming art classes, exhibitions and other art opportunities in Lawrence. After canceling our in person annual gala fundraiser in June, we have pivoted to an online event that features artwork and artistic offerings for sale all in support of our mission to inspire and sustain lifelong growth and learning for a diverse community of artists in Greater Lawrence. Help us continue to harness the power of art to transform lives through virtual (and in person) art instruction, lectures, and exhibitions. From 9/14-9/23. Please visit our website for more information.

  2. Virtual Talk: ADHD in the Family: Understanding ADHD in Children & Adults

    September 16, 2020, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

This program will be presented over Zoom. Register online. ADHD in the Family is a one-hour presentation for anyone who lives with someone who has diagnosed—or even suspected—ADHD. Linda King holds advanced certifications in ADHD coaching, including family-specific ADHD coach training, and has nearly a decade of experience working with ADHD individuals and families. Her presentation gives an overview of ADHD and its effects, along with concrete methods for living with ADHD. Learning more about ADHD is the first step to meeting its many challenges. This one-hour presentation is ideal for parents of children with ADHD (all ages—toddlerhood to college-aged and beyond), newly-diagnosed adults, couples where ADHD is causing relationship issues, and people who suspect that they or someone in their family has ADHD.
