Posted on: October 1, 2024[ARCHIVED] Elm Square Safety Improvement Public Meeting
The Town of Andover and TEC Inc. invite residents to attend a public information session to discuss transportation safety improvements within and adjacent to Elm Square on Wednesday, October 9, at Memorial Hall Library beginning at 6:30PM.
This meeting will focus on several mid- and long-term geometric alternatives and safety measures developed to further enhance the pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular experience at and in the direct vicinity of Elm Square.
This phase of
evaluation commenced after other short-term safety improvements were implemented by the Town in August 2023 in cooperation with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and local stakeholders based on recommendations outlined in a Road Safety Audit (RSA) prepared by TEC earlier in 2023.
